MGR Studios is a multi-faceted professional recording studio, based in Austin, Texas. The year was 1999 and at the time, Scott saw the necessity to live out his dream and open his recording studio doors to the public. Since then, MGR Studios has been serving clients in the Austin area to improve their sonic possibilities in their music and helping shape the sound of Austin's ever growing music scene.

With the ability to cater to musicians of all genres, MGR studios can enhance your sound and do your music justice. Through the delicate process of recording, mixing, editing and mastering, we will give your listeners the absolute best experience possible.

Founder of MGR Studios, Scott MacGregor, will personally help you shape your sound and customize it to your preferences. He specializes in music production and engineering and is especially known for his attention to detail.

Our goal at MGR Studios is to mark our evolution as the future of the industry. We are a truly full-service recording and production facility in Austin, Texas that is known for cutting edge quality and talented engineering.

I started MGR Studios with a mission of offering talented musicians a comfortable environment to record, mix, and master their music at an affordable rate. In the heart of hill country, Austin, TX, we are located in a legendary city with enormous talent. In my opinion, there has never been a better time to write and record music than right now.

At MGR we want to help you give your music the best possible sound. If your song(s) call for outside talent, we have access to awesome session musicians.

These musicians will charge their own rates aside from the studio rate, but will be ready to work when they are scheduled. I will also be available to offer my guitar playing and singing talents as well. Again, our goal is to help you create an incredible sounding song.
